Professional info
I love to create art! I am an illustrator with a particular interest in traditional drawing and painting methods, with digital skills to enhance my work. I enjoy all types of illustration, and particularly children's book illustration and nostalgia. I am a storyteller both visually and audiably. That's why I enjoy teaching art.
I have a BFA in Fine Art, and a MFA in Traditional Illustration. I am currently in Graduate School to earn my MA in Art History. I think the combination of creating and knowing where we've come from informs us of the many directions we can go. As Walt Disney said, "If you can dream it, you can do it!"
I am an adjunct professor at Northwest College of Art and Design in Poulsbo, Washington teaching Drawing, Illustration I and Advanced Illustration, Painting Techniques and Advanced Painting.
I am a freelance illustrator as well as a staff illustrator for America Magazine. Former owner and operator of Windsor Graphics, Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
